Winchester Wargamers

Winchester Wargamers is a friendly club that meets once a month in the city of Winchester UK. We play games in many eras and areas, including Neolithic, Ancients, Medieval, 7YW, Napoleonics, WWII, Fantasy and Science Fiction.

In fact, we are happy to play any period.

There is room for several games in the hall where we meet and, whilst some players play one to one games, we always run a big game that anyone can join in. The latter games use simplified rules that can be easily picked up by newcomers, and all materials for the game are provided by the organiser of the game.

So if you are interested in trying out wargaming, been out of wargaming for awhile or just visiting the area, why not drop in and meet the group.

We also encourage young wargamers and support any youngsters who wish to get involved in wargaming.

Winchester has a second Wargame Club that meets every Tuesday evening at the Badger farm Community Centre. It is called Wessex Wargamers Winchester.
